We’ve been using a direct mail and marketing workflow tool called Planet Press for 10 years now, and we’ve become experts in its use, so when the new upgrade version came out we made sure we had access to the host of new functionality it provided.
What does Planet Press allow us to do for our clients?
Well, it’s designed to capture output streams from any source and execute a multitude of tasks based on the data it sees, whether those tasks are routing a print job to the appropriate local or remote printer, splitting the data into several files for variable printing, querying other external databases for additional information, applying business rules, redirecting conditionally or distributing customer communications through any print channel.
And because it allows us to build up automation and scheduling processes it means that many jobs can be done without the need for any manual intervention… and as I’m sure everyone realises, the less manual input, the less chance there can be of human error.
In other words… Planet Press gives us the confidence that we have the right tools for the job, so whatever channels customers require, however complex the job and however many scheduled activities they have, we can do it all.
